Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu Saturday met Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and Town and Country Planning Minister and Goa Forward Party president Vijai Sardesai and held discussions on various issues related to Goa’s development, including the mining sector.
Prabhu, who is currently in Goa on a private visit, tweeted that he met his friend Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar at his residence and discussed all issues related to the overall development of Goa.
“We will support the initiatives of the Goa government towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people,” he said.
Parrikar is currently recuperating at his private residence in Taleigao after his discharge from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, since mid-October.
