In Lucknow, AIMIM and Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) formed an alliance named PDM for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. The alliance includes other parties like Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party and Rashtriya Uday Party. The rift between Samajwadi Party and Apna Dal (K) led to the end of their alliance. Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases starting from April 19, with results to be announced on June 4.
