The Samajwadi Party, led by Akhilesh Yadav, revealed the names of nine more candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in an announcement on Tuesday.The Samajwadi Party has announced Ikra Hasan (30), as its contender for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the political hotbed of Uttar Pradesh - Kairana. Ikra, equipped with a Masters in International Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, played a major role in her brother Nahid Hasan's victory through extensive campaigning while managing the legal battles against her family. Although, the BJP hasn’t declared its Lok Sabha candidate, electoral fireworks are expected in the coming days with the Hasans back in the political arena.
