Dhananjay Munde, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council in Maharashtra, while reiterating the demand that Belagavi should be merged with Maharashtra, has said that he would request the Maharashtra Chief Minister to lead a delegation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to press for the demand, which has been pending for long.
He was addressing a Maha Melav organised by the Maharashtra Ekikarana Samiti (MES) to oppose the holding of the special session of the Legislature that began here.
