Ruckus in Kerala Assembly Over Sabarimala Row, Two MLAs Turn up as ‘Men in Black’

The Kerala Legislative Assembly witnessed ugly scenes on Wednesday as opposition MLAs created a ruckus over the Sabarimala issue.

Lawmakers of the BJP and the UDF disrupted the Question Hour and demanded the removal of restrictions imposed by the Pinarayi Vijayan government at the hill shrine.
As soon as the Speaker, P Sreeramakrishnan, called the chief minister to reply to the first question listed for the day, UDF legislators rushed to the well and started shouting slogans and displaying placards. The opposition members also entered the well of the House and tried to enter the Speaker’s podium.
