BJP questions role of employee union leaders

Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party, on Thursday, has questioned the role being played by the union leaders of government employees in the ongoing electoral battle and accused them of turning out to be flag bearers of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

“Why are the union leaders supporting TRS when it has not announced any pay revision commission or interim relief? What is the message these leaders wish to convey? What have they benefited in return when every section of the society in Telangana have been taken for a ride by the government,” asked party president K. Laxman.

Talking to the media after welcoming TRS sitting MLA B. Shobha from Choppadandi Assembly constituency and Balu Naik, who lost contesting from the Deverkonda constituency in the last elections on TRS ticket. he said the KCR government had little regard for the weaker sections of SCs, STs or the BCs.
