Sabarimala opens tomorrow: Kerala CM proposes entry of women on designated days, Oppn disagrees

The Congress-led United Democratic Front Thursday walked out of the all-party meeting convened by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram, a day before the Sabrimala temple reopens for the two-month long Mandala Makaravillakku pilgrim season on November 16.
Calling the meeting “a drama”, Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said the government was not ready for a compromise and remained stubborn with regard to its stance. Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan mocked Chennithala, saying he “walked out” after the meeting was over.
