The State government is trying to sabotage Sabarimala pilgrimage by imposing curbs on the arrival of pilgrims at the hill temple, the Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala has alleged.
Inaugurating the Thiruvananthapuram leg of the KPCC’s padayatra focusing on the party’s stand on the Sabarimala issue, Mr. Chennithala said on Sunday that the stipulation requiring pilgrims to get a police pass to visit Sabarimala was unheard of and clearly pointed to the Chief Minister and the State government’s ulterior motives.
