In yet another incident in Assam, lynching of a woman allegedly by her husband at Talap Tea Estate under Doomdooma ’s Talap outpost created sensation in the locality. According to a report, Champak Kishan alias Bikram (33) of Ahubari Poka Line engaged in quarrelling with his wife Chukurmoni Kishan, mother of three kids on Wednesday night following which she was mercilessly beaten leading to her death instantly. The neighbour though came to her rescue after hearing commotion but by then she was already dead. They tied Bikram whole night in his house and informed the police in the morning. The police later recovered the body and arrested the alleged killer husband.
