The Higher Education Department has introduced 264 courses in the government arts and science colleges in the current academic year, Higher Education Minister K. P. Anbalagan said here on Sunday.
At a function held at Pappireddipatti near here to distribute welfare assistance to the tune of Rs. 4.18 crore to 523 beneficiaries under various schemes, Mr. Anbalagan said these comprised 68 undergraduate courses, 60 postgraduate and 136 research courses.
