Congress demands an apology from the Chief Minister on advertisement ‘blunder’

The Congress party demanded an apology from Chief Minister K. Chandrashekara Rao for using a woman’s picture in the government’s advertisements without her consent and also sought extension of all benefits under the schemes she was featured. At a press conference here, TPCC working president Bhatti Vikramarka and MLAs D.K. Aruna and Uttam Padmavathi said the Chief Minister had an expertise in creating false impressions through false promises and the advertisements in which the woman was featured was ample proof. The woman’s husband Nagaraju has land to benefit under the Rythu Bima scheme while her photograph was used in the Kanti Velugu scheme with another man without her consent, the Congress leaders said.
