In a sensational statement, TSRTC chairman and Ramagundam legislator Somarapu Satyanarayana have said he will retire from active politics and spend leisure time by doing social service. He announced this decision at a gate-meeting at Godavarikhani 5 incline underground mine in the district on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I am unable to work as per the wishes of Ramgundam Assembly segment people. The people had elected me as an independent legislator and now as TRS legislator and I am thankful to them. But, I am unable to fulfil their desires.”
