The State government has intensified its efforts to complete the processes required for holding elections to gram panchayats on schedule. Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao told reporters here on Thursday that the government was confident of completing before June 25 reservation of gram panchayats to the BCs, SCs, STs and women. The list of reserved panchayats would then be forwarded to the State Election Commission for taking a call on the conduct of elections, Mr. Krishna Rao said.
