Five postal ballot facilitation centres will be functioning in five different Assembly Constituencies in the district to enable the staff, who will be on election duty, to exercise their franchise from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 6. They will be able to exercise their franchise through the postal ballots.
In a press release issued here on Friday, Priyanka Mary Francis, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, said that five postal ballot facilitation centres which would be functional in the district on Sunday are: Government PU College, Byndoor for Byndoor Assembly Constituency; Bhandarkars College, Kundapur, for Kundapur Assembly Constituency; St. Cecily’s School, Brahmagiri, Udupi, for Udupi Assembly Constituency; Silas International School, Nittur, Udupi, for Kaup Assembly Constituency; and Christ King School, Karkala for Karkala Assembly Constituency.
