Ponnam Prabhakar expressed displeasure at TRS legislator G. Kamalakar’s allegations

TPCC vice-president and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has expressed displeasure at TRS legislator G. Kamalakar’s allegations that the Congress party was responsible for the damage of the newly-laid R&B road, in Mankammathota in Karimnagar town.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he ridiculed the legislator for saying that the road had caved in because of leakage of drinking water pipeline laid by the Congress government in 2007. “If we had laid the pipeline, then what about the R&B authorities? Is it not their duty to check the leakages of the pipelines while laying the road?”, he asked.
Reminding the statements made by Minister for Roads and Buildings T. Nageshwara Rao that he would resign if there was any damage or potholes on the newly-laid roads, Mr. Prabhakar asked if the Minister would resign from his post owning moral responsibility for such lapses and irregularities in the laying of the road, which caved in after a brief spell of rain in Karimnagar town.
