The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana on Wednesday nabbed a woman Tehsildar and recovered cash, gold and other property details in the raid.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches in the house of V Lavanya, Tahsildar of Keshampet in Ranga Reddy district and recovered Rs 93.5 lakh cash, 420 grams of gold jewelry from her house in Hyathnagar, a suburb of Hyderabad.

A farmer named M Bhaskar had approached the Anti-Corruption wing complaining against the VRO of Dattayapally village Antaiah on Wednesday for demanding Rs 8 lakh bribe on behalf of the Tahsildar for updating his land record online.
Acting on the complaint, the ACB caught the VRO red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh from the complainant.
