YSRCP official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma has questioned the reason for the TDP leaders’ knee-jerk reaction to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s resolve to dig out the “corrupt deals” struck during the previous government and his decisive action towards achieving that goal.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, Ms. Padma said the TDP leaders feared action against their president N. Chandrababu Naidu, and that was the reason for calling the CM’s actions as politically motivated.
The economy was in a shambles as the TDP government was negligent in every aspect of administration, and it paid the price for its failures and for personally targeting Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, she observed.
She asserted that the fight for Special Category Status (SCS) would continue under the aegis of Mr. Jagan, and in this regard a comparison could not be drawn with other States as A.P.’s position was unique and it suffered injustices.
