Goa continues to witness spells of light-to-moderate showers

Goa continued to witness spells of light-to-moderate showers today as an impact of very severe cyclonic storm Vayu, which is headed towards Gujarat through the Arabian Sea.

Speaking to AIR, India Meteorological Department, Goa director-in-charge K.V. Padgalwar said that warnings related to rainfall, rough sea and fishermen would be valid for the next couple of days. He informed that the cyclone has stalled the progress of monsoons from Kerala and may delay its arrival in Goa beyond the previously estimated 12-15th June period.
