Woman gangraped in Rajasthan: Alwar SP removed, BJP calls it worse than Nirbhaya case

A young Dalit woman was allegedly gangraped in front of her husband in Alwar, Rajasthan.
Rajasthan government removed Alwar superintendent of police Rajeev Pachar for the delay in acting against five alleged rapists of the young woman before her husband in Thanagazi, Alwar, on April 26.The government placed the SHO of the concerned police station under suspension as well.
Director general of police Kapil Garg said one accused -- Inderaj Gurjar -- had been arrested and 14 teams have been constituted to arrest the four others.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the incident and described it unfortunate and has ordered the police to arrest the remaining accused immediately.
Ashok Gehlot expressed his commitment to the safety of women.
