Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao dared prime minister Narendra Modi to carry out IT raids over CM K Chandrasekhar Rao's residence. Taking potshots at election commission, Hanumantha Rao said that the EC acts on the orders of the prime minister.
He also questioned EC as to why it has changed Andhra Pradesh chief secretary Anil Chandra four days before the general elections in the state. Citing Telangana, he said that the EC had not taken any action on the officials when he complained during the elections. He further said that the EC is acting in favour of YS Jagan in AP and KCR in Telangana as they both support Modi.
