Communist Party of India (Marxist) Polit Bureau member Prakash Karat has said that a grand alliance is not practical in the coming Lok Sabha election.
Speaking at a meet-the-press organised by the Press Club here on Friday, Mr. Karat underlined the need for State-level cooperation to form a secular government by joining hands with the regional parties. In every State, Left parties were trying to ensure the unity of anti-BJP forces, he said calling for cooperation among regional parties.
