Shripad dares Cong to move no-confidence motion against state govt

Union Minister of State for AYUSH and senior BJP leader Shripad Naik on Friday dared the Congress party to move a no-confidence motion on the floor of the House against the BJP led-coalition government if the opposition has the majority number in the 40-member state legislative assembly. Speaking to media in the city, the North Goa MP termed Congress’ attempt to stake claim to form government in the state after one year as a drama. “If Congress feels that they can prove majority on the floor of the House, then why they have not moved a no-confidence motion against the present BJP-led alliance government,” Naik questioned, adding that it was too late for the Congress to stake claim to form government.
