Maharashtra: Lack of oxygen beds in hospitals, oxygen cylinders now being installed in homes
Many districts of Maharashtra are facing a shortage of beds equipped with Maharashtra facility (Corona Oxygen Cylinder), due to which patients are facing problems.
Due to the lack of oxygen beds in many areas, oxygen cylinders are being installed at the homes of Corona patients.
Frontline workers are also not getting enough help. Police constable Chetan Barde was found to be corona infected on 24 April.
The administration admitted him to the hospital and also helped him with Rs 2 lakh for treatment. But despite this, his treatment could not be completed.
For his treatment, he also took a loan of 1 lakh rupees. However, after not recovering, treatment is now being continued at home with the help of some institutes.
