BJP releases final list of candidates, Actor Mithun Chakraborty's name missing out

West Bengal elections are going to be held in the eight stages. The first phase will start on March 27 and the last phase will be voted on April 29.
The state BJP today released what could be its final list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls.
The list has 13 names, but Actor Mithun Chakraborty's name is missing from that. BJP has fielded Lieutenant General Subrata Saha from Rashbehari.
Many believed that the Dada of Bengal Cinema will be fielded from Rashbehari.
According to the BJP sources, the south Kolkata seat was kept open for Mithun ever since he shared the stage with PM Modi at the BJP's mega Brigade Parade Ground rally in Kolkata on March 7.
