- Through her foot march, Mamta Banerjee has opened a front against the Modi govt by raising the issue of an LPG price hike.
- Ahead of the padayatra in Siliguri, she tweeted that BJP is looting the public by continuously increasing the prices of gas.
- Didi further added, "Women have been hit the hardest & I’m disgusted at Centre’s lack of intent to cut taxes & lessen their burden. In protest, today I’ll be leading an all-women michil at Siliguri."
