Was beaten up in police station, claims Dalit activist Nodeep Kaur in her bail plea
- Labour rights Activist, Nodeep Kaur was arrested by the Haryana Police from the Singhu border on 12th January 2020.
- In her bail plea before the Punjab and Haryana HC, Nodeep Kaur has claimed that she was brutally beaten up in the police station.
- She further claimed that her medical examination was not held in violation of the Criminal Procedure Code.
- The bail plea read that she was charged as accused in an FIR lodged under various sections, that included IPC Section 307.
- Adjourning the hearing on her bail plea, the Court posted the matter for February 24th.
