Toolkit Case: Delhi Police speechless as Patiala House Court grants bail to Disha Ravi
Climate Activist, Disha Ravi, who was arrested in the Toolkit case, has been granted bail by the Patiala House Court.
The court had put two conditions in front of her, that is, to furnish two sureties of Rs 1 Lakh each.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana passed the verdict in Disha Ravi's bail plea. During the hearing, Disha said, "If supporting farmers is anti-nationalism, then I would prefer to be in jail."
The hearing lasted for 3 hours in which the Court questioned the Delhi Police about the link between the 'toolkit' and January 26 violence.
The judge asked for the evidence collected by the Delhi police against Ravi, adding "or are required to merely work on surmises, conjectures?"
