Dharmendra Pradhan takes a dig, says GST Council not including petroleum products under its purview

Union Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today commented on the rising petrol and diesel prices.
Pradhan said that though fuel price has gone up after fluctuation in the international markets, but it will come down soon.
In a big statement, he said that he has been requesting the GST Council to include petroleum products under its purview but it is their call.
Letting you know, the price of petrol, which has been increasing continuously for more than 10 days in some states, has crossed Rs 100 mark.
Petrol has gone up by 35 paise, that is, Rs 90.93 in Delhi, diesel has also increased by 35 paise per litre.
