World's most vibrant protest: 87 farmers' unions from US extends support to Indian farmers
Farmers have been protesting on the borders of Delhi for more than 3 months against the Centre's three farm laws.
In a recent development, 87 farmers' unions from the US have extended support to the ongoing farmers' protests in India.
To draw a connection between how farming has been affected by “forces of neoliberalism” in both India and the US, the US organizations wrote a letter.
In the letter, the unions mentioned Ghazipur protestor Ringhu Yaspal, who said that Agriculture has turned into a slow poison. It’s better to die fighting here.
The farmer unions from the US have called this protest one of the world’s most vibrant protests in history.
