West Bengal Passes a Resolution Against CAA
- West Bengal has become the fourth state to pass a resolution against CAA after Punjab, Rajasthan, and Kerala.
- The resolution was moved by Bengal Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee at a special session of the House.
- "We were the first Assembly to discuss the matter in September 2019. We passed a resolution against the NRC", said Mamata Banerjee in the assembly.
- Mamata Banerjee said that the state cannot support those who aim to divide India.
