Cong leaders slam Modi, Kirron Kher
- A large number of city Congress workers took to streets today against the rising prices of onion.
- Wearing garlands of onion, garlic and ginger, they condemned the BJP government for its failure to control the vegetable rates.
- The protesters, led by city Congress president Pardeep Chhabra, also staged a dharna at the fruit and vegetable market in Sector 26.
- Chhabra said before becoming Prime Minister, Narendra Modi made big promises of reducing inflation and putting hoarders and black marketeers behind bars.
- He said today the prices of these things are skyrocketing.
