Germany going to aid Telangana in seed production
- Germany is going to extend its cooperation to the Telangana government in its programmes aimed towards the development of seeds.
- Officials of the German Agriculture Ministry held a meeting with Telangana Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy and complimented the State for the steps it has taken in turning Telangana into a seed production hub.
- Niranjan Reddy briefed the meeting, including improved certification systems, services for farmers interested in producing seed crops and training agriculture department officials to provide extension services to farmers.
- For the analysis, as said by the Minister, the State conducted a strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
- In a press release, it has been said that Telangana is moving forward in seed production sector.
