
Telangana is going to be the most liveable state in the country: K T Rama Rao
- Telangana MA&UA minister K T Rama Rao informed the state about the govt.’s plans of setting up a sanitation hub which would also work as a water ‘lighthouse’ for the South Asia.
- To make the Telangana, the most liveable state in the country, govt. has prepared the high-level blueprint of the sanitation hub.
- As informed by the minister, the seed funding arrangements are done and the strategic plan and fostering key strategic partnerships is currently going on.
- The state govt. is seeking Centre’s help with an initial seed funding of Rs. 100 crore. Regarding this Rama Rao had also wrote a letter to the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri.
- In all, Telangana has arranged all the land and other resources for the project which is expected to be self-furnished in five years.
