Telangana is going to be the most liveable state in the country: K T Rama Rao
Telangana MA&UA minister K T Rama Rao informed the state about the govt.’s plans of setting up a sanitation hub which would also work as a water ‘lighthouse’ for the South Asia.
To make the Telangana, the most liveable state in the country, govt. has prepared the high-level blueprint of the sanitation hub.
As informed by the minister, the seed funding arrangements are done and the strategic plan and fostering key strategic partnerships is currently going on.
The state govt. is seeking Centre’s help with an initial seed funding of Rs. 100 crore. Regarding this Rama Rao had also wrote a letter to the Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri.
In all, Telangana has arranged all the land and other resources for the project which is expected to be self-furnished in five years.
