Kerala and TN to review a 60 years old Water Sharing Agreement

On Wednesday, in a meeting between TN CM K Palaniswami and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan decided to review a water-sharing agreement.
It is about Parambikulam-Aliyar, the water-sharing agreement is to be reviewed 60 years after it was made.
“A 10-member committee will be formed compromising of five members each from both the states." Pinarayi Vijayan said.

He also added that his Tamil Nadu counterpart Edappadi Palaniswami had initiated the move and thanked him for that.
With disagreements between the two states on the deal in the past, this meeting aims to iron out differences.
