A day after Rahul Gandhi claimed that PM Modi does not understand the foundation of Hinduism, Union Minister Smriti Irani asked the Congress president to first explain ‘Hindu in him’.
Coming down heavily on the Gandhi scion, Irani said,”Rahul Gandhi, who didn’t know his gotra in Madhya Pradesh, will now tell Narendra Modi about Hinduism. (Wo Rahul Gandhi jo Madhya Pradesh mein yeh nahi jante the ki unka gotra kya hai aaj Narendra Modi ko samjhayenge ki Hindu dharm kya hai)”
“Rahul Gandhi who had once called Hindus terrorists is now talking about Hindutva. Today, he is issuing certificates who is Hindu or who is not,” Irani told reporters, a day after Rahul questioned PM Modi’s ‘Hinduism’. She further asked,”Where was Hindu in Rahul Gandhi, when Congress party had filed an affidavit against Lord Rama’s existence”.
