Pinarayi Vijayan asks media to introspect their coverage on Sabarimala

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has asked a section of the media which side they are on while reporting the developments at Sabarimala.
Opening the 55th State conference of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists here on Monday, he said that the media should introspect if their news coverage was helpful for those who were trying to drag Kerala back to the dark ages.
"When some trouble makers were arrested at Sabarimala the other day, a section of the media reported that devotees have been taken into custody. Everybody knows what was the intention of some people who gathered at the hill shrine as their political background has been revealed now. In this context, is it fair to call them devotees?", he asked.
