“Work is complete and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the skywalk on November 5, ahead of Kali Puja,” Hakim said. In a bid to ease the congestion, Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) came up with the idea of a skywalk in 2014.
