Sudden visit of PM Narendra Modi to Gujarat is arranged on September 30. The prime minister will visit Anand, Kutch and Rajkot districts during his visit. Earlier on August 23, he had visited Junagadh, Valsad and Gandhinagar during one day visit. He will also come for the inauguration of Sardar Patel's 182-meter high Statue of Unity near Narmada dam on October 31.
The prime minister's back to back engagements in the home state indicates his concerns for the political performance of his party BJP in Gujarat. The prime minister is likely to visit almost all the major districts for programmes related to different public projects.
