Human rights campaigner and social activist Shabnam Hashmi has called for the ouster of the Narendra Modi led government to safeguard the democratic and Constitutional tenets of the country.
The social activist, who was here to flag off the five-day long ‘Bathen Aman Ki’ (Peace Conversation) Yatra from Kerala to New Delhi, was addressing a meet-the-press on Friday.
She said women are the most vulnerable section in society and often fall victims to the politics of polarisation being pursued by the BJP- led government.
