Over 36 lakh corona patients undergoing treatment in India, infection rate at 17%

The number of patients infected with the coronavirus in the country has gone to 3, 18,458, which is about 15 % of the total cases.
The infection rate of corona in the country is also 16.98 %. The Union Health Ministry said that 74.69 % of the patients undergoing treatment are in 10 states.
These include Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh.
The infection rate was also 24.47 percent on 3rd May, which has come down to 16.98 % on 16 May.
In the last 24 hours, 3,62,437 patients have recovered from the corona. So far 2,07,95,335 people have recovered from Corona.
