Amid Covid scare, Maharashtra extends lockdown for 15 days, till 1st June 2021

  • The lockdown has been extended for 15 days in Maharashtra amidst the second wave of coronavirus.
  • Now the ban will be applicable till 1 June 2021 at 7 am. Now to enter any transport mode in Maharashtra, a negative report of 48 hours before the RTPCR will be required.
  • Letting you know, Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.
  • In the last 24 hours, 816 people have lost their lives due to corona in Maharashtra.
  • This was followed by 516 in Karnataka, 326 in UP, 300 in Delhi, 293 in TN, 193 in Punjab, 165 in Haryana.
