Indian govt prematurely opened the country after first wave, leading to 'serious crisis'- Top Health Expert of US

  • America's top infectious disease specialist Dr. Anthony Fauci told US lawmakers that India made the 'misconception' that the outbreak of the Covid-19 global pandemic had ended there.
  • He said that this misconception of the Indian govt opened up the country prematurely, causing it to face such a 'serious crisis'.
  • Fauci added, "And what happened, they opened everything before time and now such an extreme is being seen there that we are all aware of how destructive it is."
  • Letting you know, Dr. Fauci is the director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and is also the Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden.
