Amid a shortage of vaccines, Haryana tops the list of vaccine wastage, Assam, Rajasthan follows

  • On one hand, there is a shortage of vaccines across the country and on the other hand, the process of vaccine wastage continues.
  • According to the new list, in the case of waste, Haryana has remained number one continuously since April.
  • According to the data released on Monday, Haryana topped with 6.49% vaccine waste.
  • Assam was second with a 5.92% percentage of wastage and Rajasthan with a 5.68% percentage point.
  • The list with zero wastage included Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra.
