Union Minister writes to CM Yogi - 'Health department officials don't even pick up the phone'

  • The officers of Bareilly district are telling the system related to the Covid as better, but Union Minister Santosh Gangwar has opened the gap in the letter to CM Yogi Adityanath.
  • In his letter, the Union Minister has written that some important officials of the Health Department do not pick up the phone and patients keep wandering from one hospital to another in the name of referral.
  • Gangwar has said in his letter that hospitals are given fifty percent exemption by the govt for setting up oxygen plants under MSMEs in Madhya Pradesh.
  • He suggested that some private and government hospitals in Bareilly should also be provided oxygen plants at the earliest with this rebate so that oxygen shortage can be overcome.
  • He also apprised that multipara monitors, bio pack machines, ventilators used in hospitals, and other essential equipment are being black-marketed and sold at one-and-a-half times the price.
