The third wave of Coronavirus cannot be avoided: Govt scientific advisor gives warning

The scientific advisor of the government has issued another warning amid the boom in Corona cases in the country.
He has said that the third wave of Coronavirus in the country cannot be avoided.
K Vijay Raghavan said during the briefing that the vaccine would need to be updated to counter the new strain, as well as to speed up the vaccination program.
He added, "It is not clear when this phase 3 will arrive. But we have to be vigilant about the third wave. The vaccine needs to be monitored as it is upgraded."
