Heartbreaking! Girl jumps into her father's pyre who died of Covid, condition critical

In a heartbreaking incident from Rajasthan's Barmer district, a 34-year-old girl jumped into the burning pyre of her father, who died of coronavirus infection.
According to the police, the incident took place on Tuesday evening. The police rushed the woman to a govt hospital from where she was sent to Jodhpur due to critical condition.
Prem Prakash, in charge of Badmer city police station, said that Damodardas has three daughters.
The youngest daughter insisted on going to the funeral site as there was no male member in the family.
He said that at the funeral, she jumped into her father's burning pyre. The people present somehow protected her and called the police and ambulance.
