Gujarat: Hundreds of women violate Covid norms, gathered for prayers at temple despite restrictions
The entire country is currently reeling under the second wave of corona infection and people are being advised to stay indoors.
Several states have implemented measures such as lockdown and curfew to prevent people from getting out. But even after this, people do not miss tearing apart the Corona Guidelines.
The recent case is from Gujarat where a large number of women gathered for prayers at the Balia Dev temple in Nayapura village of Sanand district of Ahmedabad district on Tuesday.
KT Kamaria, DySP, Ahmedabad Rural said that action was taken against 23 people including the Sarpanch of the village.
The condition is that most of the hospitals are facing a shortage of beds, medicines, and oxygen due to the huge surge in corona cases.
