Assam: 2 tribal girls gang-raped by 4 youths in the Cachar district

Soon after the assembly elections in Assam, a shocking incident has come to light. Two tribal girls have been gang-raped in the Cachar district.
According to the information received on Monday, 4 youths took girls to the vegetable market and carried out the gang-rape incident with them.
Both the victim girls reached home and told about the incident. The family immediately took them to the police station and registered a case against the four accused.
The Assam Police has registered a case against Roban Laskar, Gyashuddin, Rokibul Hussain, and Siru Laskar.
Police said, "It is too early to say anything about the incident, we are investigating the matter and will give detailed information soon."
