Mamata Banerjee to take oath as the West Bengal CM on 5th May in Kolkata
Mamata Banerjee, who led the Trinamool Congress to victory in the intensely contested assembly elections in West Bengal, will take oath as a CM in the capital Kolkata on 5th May.
She is swearing-in as the CM of the state for the third time. In the TMC MLAs meeting, Mamata Banerjee was chosen as the leader of the Legislature Party.
Letting you know, the swearing-in ceremony will be held in simplicity due to the Corona epidemic.
In the West Bengal assembly elections, the ruling Trinamool Congress won 213 out of 292 seats.
BJP has become a big opposition party by winning 77 seats. Banerjee has won for the second consecutive time in the state assembly with a two-thirds majority.
