Demands have increased but Delhi not getting enough oxygen, says, Manish Sisodia

  • The oxygen crisis in the hospitals of the capital Delhi is getting worse.
  • Despite the order of the Supreme Court to fix the oxygen supply on 3rd May, the end of this problem is nowhere to be seen.
  • The Delhi govt is constantly saying that it is lacking in oxygen. Delhi Dy CM Manish Sisodia today said that Delhi is still not getting enough oxygen.
  • He said that Delhi received 440 metric tonnes of oxygen on Sunday, while there is a quota of 590 metric tonnes and at this time the oxygen demand of Delhi has increased to 976 metric tonnes.
  • Sisodia said that the demand has increased even more than before, but the supply is still not increasing in that proportion.
